Asian Management Consulting (AMC) is an Indonesian-based consulting firm that has established a solid track in various development projects and has worked with both international and national enterprises.

Christine Effendy

Managing Director

Christine Effendy has extensive experience in managing projects across sustainability, strategic communications, public policy, and development cooperation.

With a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Communication Management, Christine has led initiatives for international organizations and donors, including the EU, GIZ, and other development partners. Her experience spans from project management, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and institutional collaboration, especially in sustainable development and climate-related programs.

Dr Edzard Ruehe

Senior Consultant

Dr. Edzard Ruehe is an experienced consultant with over 35 years of international professional experience, including 31 years in Indonesia.

He holds a PhD in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He is fluent in the Indonesian language and has successfully led many multidisciplinary teams, coordinated with international and local partners and worked as a project manager with renowned organization such as GIZ, ADB, UNDP, EU, and KfW.

His work includes facilitation of industry dialogue platforms, environmental compliance assessments, and capacity building for cleaner production and sustainable practices. He is also an experienced auditor for ISO 14001 environmental management systems.
