Focus on creating employment opportunities in green jobs
Promoting Social Inclusion & Sustainable Transformations
GESIT is a bilateral Indonesian-German Technical Cooperation project with a duration of five years from July 2023 until June 2028.
It is a cross-cutting skills development and employment promotion project that contributes to all three priority areas of Indonesian-German Development Cooperation:
• Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency
• Forest Conservation
• Circular Economy
AMC's Role
AMC is responsible for carrying out these tasks:
• Instruments and recommendations for promoting employment in green jobs are available to stakeholders on national level.
• Lessons learnt with inclusive approaches for reskilling and upskilling for green jobs on national level.
• The promotion of employment in green jobs was initiated at the subnational level in selected provinces.
• Selected national stakeholders have expanded their coordination to promote green jobs.
